Education and Experience

With a Master's degree in Social Work from Walden University, I bring extensive experience working with high-risk individuals in the community, often with various comorbid conditions. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a trauma-informed lens, emphasizing intentionality, mindfulness, goal-setting, and self-empowerment. I specialize in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and aspects of the Gottman Method.

My passion lies in assisting individuals and couples in developing mindfulness skills to enhance their quality of life. Employing a first-principles approach, I collaborate with clients to identify problems and develop effective solutions. I am dedicated to helping clients build stress management and coping skills, foster supportive communication styles, and establish healthy boundaries. As a social work professional, I am committed to providing compassionate and effective assistance to couples as they navigate towards stronger, more supportive, and meaningful relationships.
